                                      (First Private Container Terminal in GEORGIA, Black Sea port city Poti)

Cautrexpoti
Ltd - the first private off-dock container terminal in Georgia - was established in 1994.

The Company started its activity with storing loaded and empty containers at the terminal, forwarder service and international transportation of cargoes.
Company’s first partner was the well-known ocean carrier Sea-Land
.
Afterwards, following Sea-Land’s sell-out, some of world’s largest ocean carriers such as P&O Nedlloyd, Hapag Lloyd, Norasia, APL became Company’s partner.
In 2002, Company signed the contract with the ocean carrier giant Maersk Line, the global containerized division of the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group. At present, Maersk Line has remained the biggest partner of the Company as yet.
Later on, ZIM and Arkas Line, another two ocean carriers, became our Company’s partners as well.
The company was ISO 9001:2000 certified in 2003.
The Company Staff consists of high-qualified personnel in management and other fields of functioning and activity.
Company is equipped with modern electrotechnical devices (video still cameras and other network systems) and logistic systems.
Technical facilities of the Company fully comply with international and safty standards.
Cautrexpoti Ltd has two off-dock container yards (container terminals), both with customs status (bounded wharehouses). One of them, with an area of 2,25 hec, is the purely container terminal with 2500 TEUs capacity at a time, including 150 ref-containers. The second terminal has an area of 3,6 hec, and is intended for containers as well as for various type of cargoes. Two covered premises (warehouse) are located there for dry cargoes, with a total area of 2000 sq.m.


Both terminals have rail spurs of total 750 m long.


The terminals are insurant from all kinds of possible risks.
